The Wonderful Month of May (plus or minus a few things)

Morgan and I made a green fort in honor of St. Patrick's Day. We ate Leprechaun Delight in our fort. It is just lime sherbet and 7 up mixed, but man it is so yummy!

In April, my parents came up for my graduation. My mom is just the best!!

It has been 5 months and 4 days since I got married. What a glorious adventure! I love it! I keep falling in love over and over again with this wonderful man...

I am so blessed! He treats me like a queen and we have more fun together than a kitten and a ball of yarn.

My spectacular husband turned 22 this month. I made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting just like he wanted. I even found out his mom's recipe for the frosting so he could be a kid again. Well, the Strong boys wanted to lick the beaters so I let them. It was a mom moment for me. They both got to be kids.

Here's the cake. Yup, it is in the shape of a teddy bear. Morgan loved the cake so I considered it a win!
We took my favorite brother-in-law to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) on May 25. Yes, he can still be my favorite even if he is my only brother-in-law. In fact, he better be my favorite in that case. I know he will do great and learn a lot over the next two years. I will say I am sad that he had to leave right when we just got to know each other. Holidays will be quieter without him and all, but it is well worth it. I know because I had to do the waiting for my one and only husband. It was emotionally hard. I know it was worth it and if I had to I'd do it again.

Here's our goodbyes...well more like see you later!

Nobody said it would be easy...they only said it would be worth it.

Along with all that this month, I had to say goodbye to some of my favorite people in the world. They have taught me how to love deeper. They taught me more about life and that laughter is a must. They taught me patience. They taught me how to play four square (the new and improved version). They taught me more than I ever taught them. What did I teach them? Well, everything a fourth grader should know. It was hard to say goodbye. I will always remember and cherish the year. It was a hard year, but it was so rewarding.
Here is my wonderful class...

No, they don't always sit that still...

What a great month full of so many emotions. Tomorrow Morgan and I leave for a cruise. What a great way to start off the awesome month of June! The cruise is our honeymoon that is five months late. (We didn't have time to go when we got married because I had to go back to work, so we decided to postpone it till now.)

Life is great. Don't forget to enjoy it as you go through it!!

Love you. Have I ever told you that before? How as the cruise? Your class looks amazing. Your husband sounds incredible. Your brother-in-law knows what is right. What a great life you have!!! You are right...we all need to stop and look at the wonders of life and how wonderful it really is.
